Steve Crumpler, Jr.
12U - KnockOuts - Team Manager
Steve has coached youth sports since 2015 and has been on the board of the Darien Youth Club since 2017 where he is currently the Softball Commissioner. He is married and has two daughters.
Steve has a demonstrated history of player development and along with his current coaching staff has developed high performing athletes and teams over the past 5 seasons with an impressive record of 46 - 6 - 1.
He loves the sport and receives the most enjoyment from watching players translate their hard work in practice to success during games. He is looking forward to transitioning to travel for the 2021 season and developing a highly competitive team.

Hanna joined softball in 2017, playing in house softball for the Darien Youth Club. While playing in house for seven seasons, she was part of a team that had 3 undefeated seasons with four 1st place titles.
Hanna is looking forward to continuing her softball career by joining the Darien Knockouts for the 2021 season.

Francesca has been playing softball since the age of 7. Prior to the Darien KnockOuts, Francesca’s softball experience has been with the Darien Youth Club. Francesca’s favorite softball memories are playing on the Darien Diamonds since 2019 and the friendships she has made over the years.
Francesca enjoys playing catcher and 1st Base. She is looking forward to improving her softball skills and enjoying the inaugural season with the 2021 Darien KnockOuts.
#21 - Gracie B.

Gracie began playing softball at age 6. She has played with both the Downers Grove Dolls and BRW and is very excited to be playing for the Darien KnockOuts this season!
Gracie loves the game of softball and especially loves the catchers position. One of Gracie's favorite softball memories is a game where she hit a triple with the bases loaded and while playing catcher caught a pop up to end the game with a win.

Tori has been playing softball since 1st grade and has played with the Downers DOLLS and BRW. She is excited to move to a more competitive level of play this year with the Darien Knockouts.
Her favorite positions are 1st base and 3rd base. She is excited to further develop her softball skills and win some games!
#04 - Aliyah H.
Position - TBD
Aliyah has been apart of DYC softball for the past 3 seasons. She is very excited to begin her fourth season as a member of the Darien Knockouts in its first year. Her last 2 teams have gone undefeated, including a win in the championship game on her last team. Aliyah’s favorite position to play is pitcher and shortstop. Her favorite memory was when she struck out 3 batters in 9 pitches. She hopes to keep growing and developing her game this year.
#30 - Tasanee H.

Tasanee has been playing softball for 12 seasons. She has played for DYC mostly, and BRW for one fall season. Her team has gone undefeated 3 times. Tasanee has hit 2 homeruns and one grand slam. One of her favorite memories was when Coach Steve said we could get ice cream after each game the team turned a double play. After he said that, we got a double play during every game that season. Her favorite position is Short-Stop.
#03 - Emma K.

Emma Koziol is in 6th grade and has been playing softball for five years. In her latest season with Darien Youth Club, her team was undefeated and won the championship game. Emma enjoys playing multiple positions, including 2nd base, right field and pitcher. She loves softball because of the camaraderie with her teammates. Emma is very excited to be part of the Darien Knockouts during its inaugural 2020/2021 season.
02 - Annabella L.

Annabella has played softball for 13 seasons and has grown to love the catchers position. She began with the Downers Grove Dolls and has also played for the Darien Youth Club (DYC) and BRW.
Annabella's favorite softball memory is from the Spring of 2018 when her 10U team went to the championship game. Her most memorable play was during a playoff game where she hit a triple with the bases loaded to win the game.

Jordyn has been playing softball for the past 2 years, including 3 full seasons. Her previous 2 teams have gone undefeated, with 1 championship. Jordyn’s favorite softball memory is when she was able to get the team ice cream by throwing out a runner trying to steal third base from the catchers position. Jordyn’s favorite position is outfield and first base. She looks forward to making more memories with her teammates and coaches while improving each day.

Kara has been playing softball for 6 years. She started playing for the Downers Grove Dolls. She has also played several fall seasons with BRW. Kara loves to pitch, play second base, and center field. Her favorite softball memory is striking out 3 batters with 9 pitches to win a game. Kara is excited to be a part of the 2021 Darien Knockouts team.

Ava began playing T-Ball for The Darien Youth Club when she was 5 years old. At the age of 7, Ava started playing in house softball for DYC on the Scrap Yard Dogs and has been playing and loving softball ever since!
Some of Ava's favorite parts of softball are playing third base, pitching and stealing bases! Most of all, she loves celebrating at the end of a great season with all her teammates and coaches. She looks forward to an awesome season on the Darien KnockOuts!
